🌿 What is Abba?
Abba is an AI-powered prayer and Quiet Time companion for Christians. You can:
- Record prayers by speaking naturally.
- Receive scriptural reflections based on what you prayed.
- Build a daily Quiet Time habit with gentle guidance.
- Use 35 languages — your native language is supported.
Abba is designed to be simple enough for anyone, including seniors using their first faith app.
🎙️ How do I record a prayer?
- Open Abba.
- Tap the microphone button on the home screen.
- Speak your prayer naturally — as short or as long as you like.
- Tap the button again to stop.
- Abba will transcribe your prayer and offer a scriptural reflection.
💡 Tip: You can pray in any supported language. Abba will respond in the same language.
🤖 How does the AI analysis work?
After you record a prayer, Abba sends the text (not the audio itself) to Google’s Gemini AI. The AI reads your prayer and suggests relevant Scripture passages, brief reflections, and sometimes a coaching note.
- Your audio stays on our storage — it is not sent to the AI.
- Your content is not used to train AI models.
- You can disable AI processing anytime in Settings → Privacy.

🛑 How do I cancel my subscription?
- Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
- Tap your name at the top.
- Tap Subscriptions.
- Find and tap Abba.
- Tap Cancel Subscription.
You’ll keep Pro access until the end of the current billing period. No charges will be made after that.
Apple handles all subscriptions — Abba cannot cancel or refund directly. For refund requests, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
🌐 How do I change the language?
Abba automatically uses your iPhone’s system language. To change it inside the app:
- Open Abba.
- Tap Settings (gear icon).
- Tap Language.
- Choose from 35 supported languages.
The AI will respond in whichever language you pick.
🎤 Why do you need microphone access?
Abba needs microphone permission only to record your prayers when you tap the microphone button. We do not listen in the background, and we do not use your microphone for anything else.
If you deny microphone access, you can still use Abba by typing prayers instead of speaking them.
🔒 How is my prayer data stored?
- Your audio is stored in your own private folder on our secure storage.
- Only your account can access it.
- Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.
- Row-Level Security (RLS) prevents anyone else from seeing your prayers.
- We never listen to, share, or sell your recordings.

🗑️ Can I delete my data?
Yes, anytime.
In-app:
- Open Abba → Settings → Account → Delete Account.
- Confirm. Your data will be removed within 30 days.
By email: Send a deletion request to rrallvv@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.
Apple and RevenueCat keep purchase records as legally required, but your personal content (prayers, recordings, transcripts) will be removed.
